Happy St Patrick’s Day! I have no photos of 4 leaf clovers or Guinness. I could take a photo of the corned beef on the stove, but doesn’t look yummy, yet.

Besides, how can one not be happy looking at these! These daffodils are the cheerfullest flower ever made….besides johnny jump ups.

In the words of William Wordsworth’s ‘Daffodils’:

For oft, when on my couch I lie

In vacant or in pensive mood,

They flash upon that inward eye

Which is the bliss of solitude;

And then my heart with pleasure fills,

And dances with the daffodils.

LIFE has its ups and downs. Take the weekend before last, for example. Here is the trunk of my car after shopping for Jason’s 21st birthday celebration. Doesn’t it look festive? I love my Baggu bags. This is a great photo of excitement. Cannot wait for Jason to come home from College Station….super pumped….totally happy.

Jason is home!!!!! When I dream about him, he is always a 2 or 3 year old. I forget that he is full grown! I mean, look at those size 14 football cleats! No two year could fit into those, right? This is a continuance of the ‘UP’ of this weekend.

Isn’t this the saddest photo? Jason has left and all I have to remind me he was here is an unmade bed. I am so very very very sad. Here is the ‘DOWN’ of the weekend:(. When will he be back? Empty nests suck!

Jason is gone, but wait….who is this? Who just flew back home? YAY!!!! It’s Michelle! She is so glad to have her photo taken. No longer sad….until today. Michelle is down in Austin south by southwesting. I know she is having more fun than me (sigh). Miss you!

it is starting to look like spring! it is still too cold to start thinking about putting up the woolens or the down comforter. it does mean that i need to get back on the weight watchers’ wagon. my walking buddy and i took our first walk in a long long while. it was good…very very good. i need to continue in order to take off the 15, yes 15, pounds i have gained back from my previous loss and continue on to my goal. so maybe i can spring for a new spring wardrobe (heh heh)…which means i need to get…

pretty shoes like these! i love them, but they are slightly out of my price range. price range = what i am willing to pay.
